Where It Began
From the time his boys were babies, Ed shied away from taking them to see "mall Santa".The fake beard, the cheap suit with the vinyl boots, and pushy hustle and bustle of making sure the picture gets taken quickly so they can sell you the package... the bustle of shopping and commercialization of Santa Claus has stripped away the reason and enthusiasm for children to believe.
Santa Ed finally decided to give the magic of Christmas for families that want to believe, the Santa he wanted for his boys and could never find. His suit is handmade of the finest velvet and fur, he wears big leather boots to keep the snow off his toes, and his beard is real! Based in Eagle, Idaho, Santa Ed Bellante takes pride in being the most realistic character possible, right down to his Ho Ho Ho.
Santa Ed takes his persona as the Chief Elf very seriously. He wants to make sure no child will ever see him in public as anything less than Santa. He knows how impressionable children are and can be seen asking kids all through the season if they're being good, getting their chores done, or doing what their parents ask when he sees them looking at him.

He has over 30 years experience working with children with the YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club, and the official charity of the students of UCLA…a resident summer camp serving children of need called UniCamp. Santa Ed enjoys witnessing the spirit of childhood and all of the imagination that it fosters. He feels just as strongly as any parent that children should have the right to Believe and enjoy childhood as long as possible.
